The 17th specialised ‘Realty Fair. Mortgages. Loans’ exhibition completed its work

On October 20, the 17th specialised ‘Realty Fair. Mortgages. Loans’ exhibition completed its work. All companies summed up the results, received well-deserved awards and drew the lotteries with useful prizes among visitors. In addition, the experts were able to exchange experience, make business contacts, sign contracts, find new clients, and exchange views with colleagues. Sibexpocentre’s platform was useful for real estate professionals, banking representatives and all guests who wanted to buy housing, ask questions about mortgage lending and spend time profitably.

On October 19 the round table was held devoted to the prospects and problems of the complex reconstruction of the ‘Khruschev-era houses’ building clusters, which was held by the ‘Regeneration of the City’ civil society movement. Within discussion there were questions concerning problems of old houses. Speakers read out aloud the statistics that such houses occupy a large area of the city - from 4 to 5 thousand squares of housing and are in critical conditions. Today these houses do not satisfy the requirements and pose a significant hazard to life and health of citizens. Speakers also distinguished the mistakes made during the construction of buildings, and spoke about the plans for the reconstruction of ‘Khruschev-era houses’ building clusters and timely resettlement of residents.

After the round table there was the second part of the conference the ‘Spatial Development of the Southern Angara Region: Search of Specialisation for Effective Competition’, which was conducted by the Baikal Representative Office of the Russian Managers and Developers Guild in cooperation with the Ministry of Construction and Road Administration of Irkutsk Region. During the business meeting, the speakers addressed to the audience with the topic of agglomeration - expansion of settlements, pendulum emigration - a problem that develops among residents who go to work to other city. The speakers spoke about the processes that require managerial attention, and read out aloud important theses of the speeches, one of which is the very concept of Southern Angara Region, as well as a projection of the economic development of the territory. Organizers noted that in order to discuss the development of Angara Region, it is necessary to understand which economic processes can be developed in this territory in the coming decades.

Also within the ‘Realty Fair. Mortgages. Loans’ exhibition there was the annual ‘The road will be handled by the walker’ competition of works which was held by the Ministry of Construction and Road Facilities of Irkutsk Region. The competition gives a chance to reveal talented students, to develop their creative abilities and to stimulate professional growth.

On the platform of the exhibition there were about sixty participants, among them were the largest builders of the city. It should be noted that each company responsibly and creatively approached design of its stand. Visitors of the exhibition could assess the scale of each exposition at which 3D projects of construction companies and video clips of already built residential complexes were presented.

For visitors this exhibition was not only interesting in terms of stand design, but also useful for the information that guests were able to receive from representatives of the companies. Someone were explained by experts the problematic issues connected with purchase and registration of the real estate, someone were helped to decide on housing and also to look about the questions concerning bank operations.

The main event of summing up the exhibition was the awarding of the best exhibitors. The Grand Prix was awarded to the Novyi Gorod LLC financial construction company, Grand-Stroi LLC, and Vostok Center Irkutsk JSC. The gold star of the exhibition was awarded to Vostsibstroi LLC, DomStroi LLC, Central Park Insurance Company LLC, Sberbank JSC, Topka-Stroiinvest LLC, Parapetstroy LLC, Management of regional construction LLC, Sibenergromstroy LLC, Century 21 Company, Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service in Irkutsk Region and ‘Bureau of Cadastral Engineers’ LLC. In addition, traditionally at the closing ceremony of the exhibition, visitors were awarded prizes from participants.

The ‘Realty Fair. Mortgages. Loans’ exhibition allowed us to bring together the best developers of Irkutsk, get favorable offers from company representatives, and specialists had an opportunity to attend conferences, round tables and seminars at which specialists could top up qualifications and get practical advice in the field of real estate and banking. The event was successfully completed, next year we are waiting for more exhibitors with new ideas and profitable offers.
