The ‘Siberian Health Care. Dentistry’ exhibition: with care for everyone. See you next year!

On October 12 the closing ceremony of the ‘Siberian Health Care. Dentistry’ anniversary exhibition was held.
Vladimir Pogorelov, Head of the Department for Development of the Health Care System of the Ministry of Health of Irkutsk Region summed up the exhibition results:

The ‘Siberian Health Care. Dentistry’ exhibition brought enormous benefits to many people. It is no secret that many people do not go to polyclinics for various reasons: for example, due to lack of free time or due to long-term appointments. The platform of Sibexpocentre provides the very opportunity for the residents of Irkutsk to undergo the most important doctors in the shortest possible time, to receive detailed information and get their results on the same day. Any guests of the event were able to check their health by visiting doctors of different directions. The medical industry specialists managed to attend important and interesting lectures and seminars. They were able to exchange experiences, raise exciting questions that arise in medical institutions, as well as see new technologies applied by their colleagues.

On October 10 in the conference hall of the second pavilion representatives of Irkutsk State Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education - branch of the Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Professional Education - together with the Irkutsk city hospital No. 6 held the ‘Current Problems of Cerebrovascular Pathology’ scientific and practical conference for neurologists. Speakers raised the issues concerning telemedicine and virtual reality in rehabilitation, the organization of medical rehabilitation in due time and also told about work of the rehabilitation centre for the patients who had a stroke on the basis of neurologic department of city hospital.

On October 12 one more scientific and practical conference devoted to topical issues of oncology took place. Its organizers were Victoria Dvornichenko, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Chief Oncologist of Siberian Federal District, Chief Physician of the Regional oncological clinic, Manager of the department of oncology of the Irkutsk State Physicians' Continuing Education Institute and also Oksana Krivoshchekova, Deputy Chief Physician for organizational and methodical work of the Irkutsk regional oncological clinic. Organizational issues of oncological service, goals and possibilities of modern methods of radiotherapy, topical issues of treatment of thoracic tumours, therapy of hepatic cancer, supporting therapy of oncological patients and many other related topics became the key thematic directions of the conference.

On the same day there was the ’Implantation and prosthetics on implants with a conical connection - C1’ seminar for dentists, which was conducted by Sergey Urvantsev, Dentist. He clarifed the modern methods of implantation and prosthetics on implants, told the audience how to properly analyze, make decisions and draw up algorithms for diagnosing and treating the partial and total absence of teeth using implants with a conical connection - C1.

On October 11, Olga Vorsina, Chief Freelance Specialist, Psychiatrist at the Ministry of Health of Irkutsk Region, Deputy Chief Physician at the Irkutsk Regional Psychoneurological Dispensary held a seminar on memory disorders. Olga Petrovna noted how to take care of your health in order to avoid memory lapses, gave a strong suggestion how you need to train your memory in order to avoid problems in the future. The seminar took place on one breath. The information shared by the lecturer was not trivial. Olga Petrovna presented it in an interesting and informative way, and it was not for nothing that the guests of the seminar took a very active part in the discussion of this topic.

At the end of the exhibition a solemn ceremony of rewarding of participants was held, none of them was left without attention. Traditionally, all exhibitors were handed diplomas and awards. The Ministry of Health of Irkutsk Region, Department of Health and Social Assistance to the Population of the Committee on Social Policy and Culture of the Administration of the city of Irkutsk, BLIK-TRADE LLC, the Irkutsk branch of Contact LLC, MED-VEDI LLC, IMPLANTMED LLC, Regional Versatile Medical Centre named after St. Luke and Baikal pharmaceutical cluster. The silver award was given to Medtorg LLC, SV-Dental LLC, Khabarovsk Office of Stoma- Dental LLC, Irkutsk Pharmacy, Medresource -M LLC, and Blagodar-Medgroup LLC. Also, all exhibitors received commemorative diplomas.

The ‘Siberian Health Care. Dentistry’ exhibition hospitably met all the guests and participants from both the city of Irkutsk and other regions of Russia. It was very useful and informative for professionals who work in the medical industry, as well as for residents of Irkutsk, who entrusted health to industry professionals.
