On May 23-26 the ‘Energy Efficiency. Housing and Public Utilities’ exhibition will take place in Sibexpocentre

On May 23-26 in Sibexpocentre Exhibition Complex there will take place the 21st specialised ‘Energy Efficiency. Housing and Public Utilities’ exhibition. The event permits to demonstrate on one platform new technologies in the field of power and energy saving and also to discuss key subjects of the industry with professionals and authorities at the events of the business programme.

Now energy saving technologies are actively integrated into the construction industry, there are more and more joint projects based on achievements of two branches therefore this year the ‘Energy Efficiency. Housing and Public Utilities’ exhibition will pass for the first time simultaneously with the ‘Baikal Construction Week’ exhibition. Thus, experts will be able not only to get acquainted with new technologies, but also to discuss the prospects of collaboration.

Participants of the 21st ‘Energy Efficiency. Housing and Public Utilities’ exhibition will become producers and distributors of power equipment, LED lighting, developers of energy saving technologies, representatives of authorities and many others.

• Summing up the heating season 2017-2018. Preparation for the heating season 2018-2019;

• State policy in the field of reforming of the communal complex;

• Analysis of the effectiveness of measures of state support for utilities;

• Attraction of credit institutions in housing and communal services;

• Creation of a unified automated system for accounting and analysis of energy consumption at state-owned property in Irkutsk Region;

• Tariff regulation.

After official opening of the exhibition industry conference ‘Innovations and Modern Technologies in Power’ at which the discussions on the energy saving and increase in power efficiency in Irkutsk Region will take place, readiness of power industry of Russia will be considered, including Angara Region, transition to the new technological platform based on mass digitalization. Besides, the large enterprises of the region will share the experience introductions of energy efficient technologies and systems of digital management.

‘Renewable and alternative energy sources and energy-saving technologies’ panel discussion will be the final event of the first day, at which the prospects for the development of renewable energy sources in Irkutsk Region will be discussed, the application of the ‘Internet-things’ concept in the sphere of energy saving and also the practical experience in this subject will be analyzed.

In the second day of the exhibition — on May 24 in the conference room of the third pavilion the ‘Energy-Efficient Lighting Technologies for Office, Industrial and Street Facilities’ branch session will begin at 10:00. Further the business programme will continue with the ‘Innovative Solutions in Smart Urban Energy in Russia and Germany’ round table which will be carried out by the German House of Science and Innovations. This organisation is the information platform for scientists from Russia and Germany and promotes exchange of experience in the sphere of science, scientific research and technologies. Within the round table such topics as smart house, smart networks, Mikrogrid system, integrated engineering infrastructure (electro-, warm, cold-water, gas supply), digital renewable power and also ‘Internet things’ in the energy sector will be discussed.

The business programme of the second day will be concluded with the round table discussion on ‘Operation and introduction of small-capacity boilers’, at which the condition of the communal heat sources in Irkutsk Region will be analyzed. The results of the study of the heat supply systems of the Central Ecological Zone of the Baikal Nature Protection Area will be announced. The enterprises of the region will share their experience of introducing and operation of low-power boilers.

On May 25 is the Youth day within which in the conference room of the third pavilion for students of the profile Higher Education Institutions, colleges, schools the ‘Profession is the Energy Worker’ round table will take place, devoted to questions of employment of young specialists, specifics of personnel policy of the large companies of fuel and energy complex. Representatives of the energy industries companies will make a speech at the event. They will tell about the situation in branch labor market, will voice the selection criteria of experts. Students will also be able to get advice of specialists in staff recruitment.

The ceremony of opening of the exhibition will be held on May 23 at 12:00 on the scenic platform of the pavilion No. 1 of Sibexpocentre.
