The ‘Siberian Health Care. Dentistry’ exhibition will take place in Sibeхpocentre on October 9-12.

The 25th specialised ‘Siberian healthcare’ exhibition and the 10th specialised ‘Dentistry’ exhibition will take place on October 9-12 in Sibexpocentre Exhibition Complex. The opening ceremony will be held on October 9 at 10.00 in the second pavilion of the exhibition complex.

The event programme includes round tables, seminars, lectures, flash mobs and consultations. For all the guests of the exhibition in the conference rooms there will be a discussion of important issues, speakers will share their vast experience and give practical advice on the prevention of various diseases and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Also at the event diagnostic and rehabilitation centres, resorts and motels, dental centres, pharmacies and organisations involved in the custom manufacture of medicines will work. All thise and many other things will be seen by guests who will attend the specialised exhibition.

The exhibition programme includes also a demonstration of new medical equipment. For visitors, the mobile complexes will work where everyone can undergo medical examination and get the necessary recommendations. A mobile photofluorograph, a blood transfusion centre will work for visitors, you can get tested for HIV, make a flu vaccination and many other things. For useful information, guests and specialists will be able to attend round tables, and having participated in a flashmob you can learn how to be fit. In addition, schools of health will hold their master classes.

During the exhibition for medical workers there will be the lectures and seminars such as ‘Early diagnosis of oncological diseases of the oral cavity’, ‘About the benefits of physical activity in old age’, as well as a seminar on the early diagnosis of circulatory system diseases and dispensary observation of patients with cardiovascular diseases. The ‘Early diagnosis of oncological diseases’ round table and the meeting on diabetes mellitus for outpatient-polyclinic physicians of Irkutsk Region medical organisations will be held. Lectures will be conducted by ophthalmologists, endocrinologists, general practitioners, dermatovenerologists, nephrologists and surgeons.

The exhibition promises to be very saturated and useful. Especially for children ultrasonography of thyroid gland, abdominal cavity organs and vaccine prophylaxis will be provided.

Within the III ‘Aesthetic Dentistry’ Baikal dental forum which will last during the whole exhibition experts will hold lectures and seminars. They will tell about implantation and prosthetics on implants with the conic C1 connection, and also about art of creation of effective rebuilding procedures and esthetic rehabilitation.

On October 9 and 10, in the second conference hall of the first pavilion, specialists will be able to attend the ‘Everything about veneers. Aesthetic rehabilitation’ seminar, which will be devoted to modern methods of prosthetic dentistry. It will consist of theoretical and practical parts. At the seminar, experts will talk about border visualization, minimally invasive preparation, simple stages of preparation for veneering, and minimum bur set for achieving results. Practitioners will give information about clinical errors due to the lack of planning a complex approach, as well as highlight modern methods of preparation for veneers. In practice, the medical worker will undergo a full cycle of training in veneers, and will independently conduct the manipulation from preparation to the manufacture of temporary restorations under lecturer supervision.

In addition, for dentists, on October 11 and 12, in the first pavilion of conference hall No. 2, a seminar will be held on implantation and prosthetics on implants with a conical connection - C1. At the event the indications for implantation and prosthetics on implants will be considered and also the contraindications will be discussed. Much attention will be paid to the issues of informing patients. On this day the planning of implantation will be discussed: checkup, preparation, computed tomography, treatment plan and the interaction between doctors. The seminar will be divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The topics of the reports are devoted to the features of implantation for the upper and lower jaw, a review of techniques by ridge deficiency, orthopedic puncture: temporary prosthetics, terms, bridgeworks and many other things. In practice attendees will be able to work with phantom models and try to install implants. Also, speakers will raise issues of temporary and permanent prosthetics and talk about the rules of oncoming dental fittings: ‘What? Where? What for?’.

The interregional scientific and practical conference ‘Current Problems of Cerebrovascular Pathology’ which will take place on October 10 in the conference room No. 1 will become one of the key events of the exhibition. There will be discussions, and anyone can ask the questions of interest. Three main subjects will be emphasized at the conference. The first one will be – the ‘Telemedicine and virtual reality in rehabilitation’ about which Vadim Daminov, Doctor of medical sciences, Professor, Head of the ‘Medical rehabilitation and recovery treatment’ department, Head of the department of medical rehabilitation of patients with dysfunction of peripheral nervous system and the musculo-skeletal system FGBOU of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (RNRMU), Chief Specialist on medical rehabilitation will tell. The topic of the second report is the ‘Organization of medical rehabilitation at the present stage’. Andrey Suvorov, Candidate of Medical Science, Assistant Professor of rehabilitation and modern medicine, medical rehabilitation, Senior Scientist of the department of medical and social rehabilitation after stroke of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (RNRMU), Executive Secretary of the ‘Union of rehabilitation therapists of Russia’ (Moscow) will perform with it. He will share long-term positive experience of rehabilitation programmes preparation at the patients who have had a cerebral apoplexy taking into account the last achievements of recreation therapy. And also he will tell about algorithms of preparation of individual rehabilitation programmes, staging, use of complex methods, training of personnel, programmes of early motional adaptation. The third announced subject is the ‘Experience of the rehabilitation centre for the patients who have had a stroke on the basis of neurologic office of city hospital’, the speaker will be Natalya Burdukovskaya, Responsible Secretary of the ‘Association of neurologists of Irkutsk Region’, Assistant of the department of neurology and neurosurgery of Irkutsk State Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. Material of the lecture will be devoted to experience of creation and successful work of the rehabilitation centre for the patients who have had a stroke on the basis of neurologic office of city hospital. The practical developments and techniques offered in the lecture can be used by preparation of rehabilitation programmes for the purpose of reduction of terms and optimization of results of the recovery period.

On October 12 in the conference hall of the second pavilion within the exhibition the ‘Actual issues of oncology’ Interregional scientific and practical conference will be held. Among conference speakers there will be scientists and practicing oncologists, chemotherapists, radiologists and other interested specialists who will make presentations. Topics on the modern methods of radiation therapy, radiosurgery of brain tumors, diagnosis and treatment of thoracic tumors current issues in the treatment of mammary tumors will be raised and explored also current issues in the treatment of lung cancer, bowel cancer and hepatic cancer will be clarified. At the conference the topic of diagnosis and treatment of oncourological diseases will be discussed, new approaches to the treatment of thyrophymas, treatment of malignant tumors of the prostate gland, as well as complex and immunological methods for treating tumors will be discussed. Experts will explain about modern methods of treatment of malignant neoplasms of the head and neck. An important topic of the conference will be drug treatment of tumors (chemotherapy), as well as prevention of possible complications, reduction of side effects and many other things.
