The opening of the exhibition 'Siberian food products'
The 25th exhibition of food and consumer goods started its work on April 23 at Sibexpocentre. Looking at the stands of the participants, it is impossible not to stop and try the fragrant products of local manufacturers. It is really surprising that such a variety of products is produced in our region: manufacturers delight their guests with new fresh products and, of course, a huge assortment. Even a true gourmet will find a product to his favourite taste.
There will be a useful business and interesting entertaining programme In the framework of the exhibition 'Siberian food products'. It was noted by speakers during the opening ceremony.
Ilya Pavlovich Sumarokov, The Minister of agriculture of the Irkutsk region made a welcoming speech:
‘This year exhibition is an anniversary and quite large-scale. For the second year, we try to combine 'Siberian food products' exhibition with the regional event 'Products of Angara region'. This is what gives the scale to the event. I want to note that our regional brand 'Products of the Angara region' unites 44 producers, 25 of which are presented at the exhibition today. We believe that such events help us to bring together consumers and customers on one site, enable our manufacturers to present their new products and share their experience.
Next, Kuzma Romanovich Aldarov, the Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Irkutsk region made his welcoming speech too:
Every year this event indicates the growing potential of our industrial complex. Enterprises show an expanding range of products and new technologies. Here you can find the products of our best manufacturers, which are in demand not only in the domestic market of the Irkutsk region but also abroad.
Sergey Ten, The Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation noted:
'Of course, we must consume quality food products. We should consume our regional products, not Chinese. We have gardeners who grow watermelons at their summer homes. And we really need to go back to the experience that was actively introduced in the Soviet time to develop the greenhouse industry.
Dmitry Baimashev, Chairman of the agro-Industrial Union of the Irkutsk region, non-Profit Partnership of food and processing enterprises congratulated everybody on the beginning of the event:
I would like to thank our customers who trust our products because the workers in the agriculture and food industry are very responsible for their work and provide quality goods. The exhibition allows communicating with products manufacturers and also gives opportunities to find out what's new our companies released.
Natalia Tretyakova, head of the exhibition organization Department of Sibexpocentre OJSC, announced the exhibition open:
Our exhibition is a platform where you can exchange experiences, present new services. Traditionally, we planned an interesting, relevant programme for both professionals and citizens. I wish all participants of the event successful and fruitful work.
At the end of the official part, vip-delegation walked through the exhibition. Participants pleased with their products and arranged a tasting so that the Commission could evaluate the quality of the product. The participants talked about new products, production technologies, the importance of improved equipment. They also discussed pricing policy, development of farms in the region, noted the usefulness and quality of the products offered. Guests of the exhibition could visit stands of such enterprises as 'Sayan broiler', 'Belorechye', 'Irkutsk Bakery', 'Angarsk Meat-Processing Plant', 'Cedar', 'Ziminskie Sausages, 'Children's Dairy Kitchen', Baikalekoproducts', 'Laktovit', 'Kiprey', 'Pole, 'Vita', SE 'Sharpinskaya OV', 'Baikal Legend' and others.
In the framework of the 'Products of Angara region' event, which was organized by the Ministry of agriculture of the Irkutsk region, culinary Studio "Anette" together with Sibexpocentre held a master class with the participation of Irkutsk restaurants. Chefs of 'Annette', 'Old Cafe', Syr v masle', ‘Sobranie Spechilova’ restaurants demonstrated their dishes. They made a real show on cooking restaurant dishes from local products. This show attracted the attention of a lot of guests. Entertaining programme continued with performances of creative teams.
The exhibition has just started its work, and everyone has a great opportunity to come and find new products, buy quality dairy and meat products, fish, pastries and mushrooms, eggs for the Easter holiday, honey, nuts, sausages and cheeses, vegetables, fruits, sweets, tea, textiles, products for home and garden, and more. The exhibition is useful and very informative. It will raise important issues of the agricultural sector, which will be discussed at the round tables. We are glad, that local products are improving and becoming better. It is good that our region has something to boast and show.
Visitors can visit the exhibition on April 23- 25 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m and on April 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. More information about the event can be found on our website.
