An opening of «Beauty industry» exhibition took place on the 4th of April. It is a true paradise for connoisseurs of beauty.
Professional companies of the beauty industry exhibited a wide variety of well-known brands and beauty products, which could amaze any guest of the exhibition. It was attended by experts, professionals and champions in the nail service, hairdressing, make-up and design fields. Any guest could learn the most modern techniques of creating an ideal fashion design, get a professional certificate, directly ask the experts all the questions, receive advice and find out about the latest fashions tendencies.
First Deputy Chief of the Consumer market and Licensing Department of the Irkutsk region Olga Stepanova made a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony:
It is pleasant to note that the «Beauty industry» exhibition is a traditional memorable event of Irkutsk city life. I think it is also very symbolic that this event takes place in spring, because at that exact time of year we desire to surround ourselves with beauty and bright colors. Special thanks to the participants. The work what you do makes our lives more beautiful. I hope that this exhibition will provide an opportunity both to acquire new customers and to enhance professionalism

Dear partners, participants and guests of today's event, I congratulate you on the opening of the traditional spring exhibition «Beauty industry-2019»! I wish you fruitful business contacts, successful work, new ideas, and, of course, lots of luck. I declare this exhibition open!
On the first day of the exhibition Oksana Karaseva, a director of «Avenue 11» company and organizer of the III International Championship in design, hairdressing, make-up, nail service and eye styling «Baikal Beauty Expo» announced the opening of the Championship:
Today an «Eye styling» section began. Tomorrow is the day of a «Hairdressing» section, «Nail service» and «Design» sections will start their work from April 6 and 7 respectively. Come and enjoy this spectacular contest! I also wish to note that our Championship has recently become the qualifying round for two larger competitions. It means our participants can also take part in them and, what is more, the winners will go to the International Championship in Mongolia
This was followed by a speech of the Director of the College of Management and Entrepreneurship Elena Dikova:
Holding this Championship has already become a good tradition. I am deeply convinced that to achieve a high professional level, participation in such contest is highly required. I wish all participants and judges good luck and objective scoring, and victory to the strongest ones. Let the spirit of healthy competition reign in here
On the first day of the exhibition the «Eye styling» section started. The participants showed their skills in both classic and 3D eyelash extension.
One of the most important events of the exhibition was Marathon of Health. It was held in the non-stop mode. Guests of the Marathon did morning exercises and attended some interesting lectures. Marina Spirande, a psychologist, life- and business coach, advisory member of the Professional League of Psychology in Moscow, spoke of psychosomatics, healthy eating behavior and losing extra weight. A manual and body therapist, masseur Andrey Mikhailov spoke about recovery of the body using osteopathic manual methods and recovery techniques. A gynecologist, endocrinologist and fertility doctor Tatiana Burdukovskaya gave a lecture on the topic of «Female hormones' impact on women's health and weight loss».
Irina Vinichenko, a business director of a health and beauty center «IRIDA LIFE» gave detailed information about the Marathon of Health:
I came up with an idea of the Marathon about 10 years ago, but only now it was successfully realized. What is more, on April 7 just after the Marathon it is The World Health Day. We are very glad about such a wonderful coincidence. All the guests can participate in the Marathon absolutely for free. We invited speakers from different fields and different cities. All three days we will inform patients and employees of the beauty industry about how to strengthen and restore health, what helpful measures can be taken. This Marathon will answer all the questions which citizens of Irkutsk might have. I am very glad that we succeeded in carrying out this event! Special thanks to Sibexpocentre for the assistance!
Within the exhibition framework a seminar «Business with South Korea: ideas, trends, opportunities» by KOTRA was held in the conference hall. Its representatives spoke about the trends in South Korea, opportunities and prospects of business with Korean manufacturers, analyzed real business cases and answered questions, concerning both difficulties and positive aspects of working directly with Korean suppliers.
Furthermore, the Consumer market and Licensing Department of the Irkutsk region held a round table, focused on a consumer who abuses his rights. As a result of the discussion, prevention measures of an unexpected conflict were found. After the round table, representatives of the company «Alpika» demonstrated a face modeling procedure called «Trampoline lift».
On the stage guests of the exhibition could see a fashion show organized by Fufaeva Marina (Novosibirsk), Basakova Olga (Irkutsk) and Portnyagina Lyubov (Usolye-Sibirskoye), who were hairdressers and technologists of TB OLLIN PROFESSIONAL. True professionals of the beauty industry created wonderful fashion designs for models and demonstrated complex hairstyles and hairstyling techniques. The guests enjoyed the show and were deeply impressed by its outcome.
In addition to workshops and fashion shows held at the special venues, the participants organized master classes at their stands. And the guests who couldn't attend workshops that day could do it before the exhibition final day.
